CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
1. PRINT CUSTOMER LIST – WITH NOTES
Customer Notes may now be printed with the list by setting the “Include
Customer Note” field to “Y”.
2. CUSTOMER TRIAL BALANCE
Service charges are now included. Previously, service charges would not
appear on this report until after statements were printed.
3. PRE-STATEMENT/AGE DATA RESTORE
The ability to restore for a specific billing cycle has been added.
4. PRINT PREVIOUS BALANCE AS LINE ITEM ON STATEMENT
In ‘User Maintenance’ the new option, “Balance as Line Item” has been
added. With this option set to “Y”, the previous balance will print as the
first line item on a statement.
5. DOWNLOAD FUNCTIONS – EXPORT, ARCHIVE, STATEMENTS
Three functions: Export Transactions, Transaction Archive, and Statement
printing can be downloaded to the operator’s workstation.
6. INDIVIDUAL STATEMENT REPRINTS
The current plus last 11 months of statements can be reprinted (laser
These reprints are NOT retroactive. Archiving of individual statements
will begin with your NEXT statement printing. Using ‘Month End Processing’
– ‘Print STATEMENT’ to re-generate statements will REPLACE the current
month’s archive statement.
CALL FSI SUPPORT to configure this feature (pcl2pdf).
With this feature configured, AND statements have been Saved (‘Convert
Statements to PDF’ = ‘S’) the operator will be prompted with:
Current or Old (C/O)?
If the operator selects ‘O’, a list of saved statements will be displayed
for selection. Otherwise, the program continues with normal statement
7. CUSTOMER PROCESSING – PRINT STATEMENT – BROWSE ARCHIVE – ‘ON HOLD’
The ability to print a statement can now be done from the newly added ‘7.
Print Statement’ function. Likewise, ‘8. Browse Archive’ for the selected
customer can be performed.
In the ‘2. Account Inquiry’ function, the ability to edit a transaction has
been added. Press “E” to edit a specific transaction line.
In ‘3. Customer Amendments’, the new, ‘Account on Hold’ may be set to ‘Y’
to block future charges to the selected customer’s account.
1. COMBINE RX PICK UP AND PAYMENT CARD DIGITAL SIGNATURES
On a per register profile basis, it is now possible for a customer to sign
a digital signature pad once for both credit cards and Rx pick up. Be
CAREFUL with this option. Some states/localities may not permit this
On the third page of Register Maintenance, set the new, ‘Combine Sign for
Payment Card and Pick Up’ to ‘Y’.
HIPAA signatures continue to remain separate.
1. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE FILES
– 120 DAY PURGE
The files generated for controlled substance reporting (PMP) will now be
automatically deleted if they are 120 days or older.
This process has been added to the many ‘beginning of day’ processes.

– Louisiana and Georgia (both using version 4.1 and schedules 2,3,4) have

2. REFILL REMINDER – LTCF INCLUDE/EXCLUDE ADDED
The selections page previously allowed selection of patients matching a
specific LTCF code. To complement this process, patients NOT matching a
specific LTCF code can be implemented by setting the new, ‘Inc,Exc’, field
to ‘E’ (for Exclude).
3. CMS 1500 CLAIM FORM – CALIFORNIA MEDI-CAL REQUIREMENTS
Medi-Cal is requiring the patient name be in the format of:
Last_Name, First_Name, Initial, Title
This may be effected on claim form 34 and 39 by adding a comma (,) in the
third party profile’s “Misc. Selections” field. IF there is ‘t’ in this
field, the comma (,) is inserted BEFORE the ‘t’.
The unformatted patient name MUST have a period (.) following a single
character in order for the program to recognize an initial. Titles must
JR., JR, SR., SR, I, II, III, IV, or V
4. PATIENT RECORD – CUSTOMER A/R – DISABLE FUNCTION
Previously, the <SF2> was used to disable a patient’s link to a Customer A/
R record. This has been changed to <SF4> to allow future enhancement for
all help screen data to use the <SF2> key.
5. PATIENT LIST BY SELECTED FIELDS – EXCLUDE OPTION
It is now possible to generate a list with a particular item or items
EXCLUDED by setting (where applicable) the new ‘Exclude’ field to ‘Y’.
6. LOG OF SCRIPTS REPORT BUILDER
’16. Current Misc Price’ has been added to ‘5. Dollar/Price Items’.
’11. NDC Ver Tech’ has been added to ‘6. Misc Items’.
7. DISABLE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE RX FAX REQUEST
It is now possible to disable fax requests of controlled substances by
setting the new Software Option, ‘Disable Ctrl Sub Rx Fax Request’ to ‘Y’ –
8. VERIFY – QUEUE ITEM COUNT
The number of items in the verify queue now displays to the right of the
‘5. Check <Queue Name>’ menu line.
