SOFTWARE CHANGES INCLUDED IN THIS UPDATE: 15 Mar 15 Software Changes 1. BOARD & CARE CHART SPANNING TWO MONTHS If a chart spans two months, both months can be printed on the form by setting the Variant field on Misc Items, "11. Chart Date Start Month ('JAN')" to "M" (for 'multi-month'). 2. DRUG USAGE BY DATE RANGE - ADD UOM Unit of Measure (UOM) has been added to the export file as the 21st element. 3. PRINTED LASER CLAIM FORMS - PATIENT ALLERGIES ADDED, REFILLS - '41. Patient Allergies' has been added to Patient Items. - On '8. Refills Authorized', setting the Variant option to 'P' will print: '1 Refill' if there is one refill or 'xx Refills' if there are 0 or more than 1 refill where 'xx' is the number of refills authorized. - Doctor Item, '9. Fax Phone #' will print ONLY the FAX phone # if the Variant option is set to 'N'. Otherwise, 'Fax-<phone number>' will print. 4. ONLINE CLAIM GROUP CODE SUBSTITUTION Now, if a Third Party profile's "Misc. Selection" field contains the text, "Grp", the text in that profile's 'Grp Code' will be transmitted in the NCPDP 'C1' Group Number' field. Using this method will alleviate the task of entering this group number in each patient's group code. 5. NEW IVR PHONE SYSTEM - TalkRx FSI now supports the 'TalkRx' IVR system. 6. CALIFORNIA TAR FORMS - PROGRAMMABLE TAR Form Type 'L' has been added to 'TAR Tracking'. Press the '7' key to select 'Prog. Laser Form'. The Third Party Code must also use the 'Laser Form' field which format should have been previously created using 'A. Laser Programmable Forms' - Key strokes from main menu: 3 7 3 A. PRINT PICKUP SIGNATURE FROM SCRIPT MENU After a script is recalled, the ability to re-print the pick up signature may be performed by pressing the 'S. Signatures' key and selecting the dispening number. The text, 'Sign' appears in the script history if there is a pick up signature on file. 2. 'BLINKING' SCRIPT NOTE The 'short' script note may be caused to 'blink' if the 1st and last characters of the text are '!'s. As has been active for a long time, if the 1st character is a '*', the operator will be prompted to 'Press ESC to Continue'. 3. LIST OF PATIENTS WITH MULTIPLE SELECTED DRUGS PER DATE RANGE It is now possible to get a list of patients that have been prescribed multiple drugs (specified by partial GPI) for a given date range. FOR EXAMPLE: You want to know all patients that have been prescribed at least 2 drugs in the following 4 groups: Benzodiazapines HCPs Tramadol Use the 'Patient Script Usage by Date Range' function. (Key strokes from main menu: 3 2 1 5). -Press the <F3> key to enter the partial GPIs for these items. 571000 Benzodiazapines GPI class 659917 HCPs (NOTE: there is more than one GPI class for HCPs) 6510009510 Tramadol GPI group -Set the single character '[ ]' to 'Y'. If this field is set to 'N', this list item will be ignored. This allows you to enter up to 10 partial GPIs and select only the ones you want to match. -Set the new 'Matching [ ] Drug GPIs' to '2'. -Set the date range and generate the report. 4. PRINT DISPENSING DATE ON PDE SHEET (patient monograph) The new Software Option - Page 12 - PDE Settings, 'Print Dispensing Date on PDE' has been added. Setting this option to 'Y' will cause printing of a DISPENSING DATE instead of today's date on the sheet. If NO script is associated with the PDE, today's date will be printed.
