SOFTWARE CHANGES INCLUDED IN THIS UPDATE: 15 Jul 15 Software Changes (132x42) Many more programs have been updated to the larger (132x42) screen size. 1. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REPORTING - ASAP V2.0 - MULTI-INGREDIENT COMPOUNDS The programs that generate ASAP Version 2.0 (of which, we believe, only UTAH still uses) now scans all the ingredients of a compound record and can, therefore, generate records for each controlled substance in the compound, if there two or more. Previously, the NDC of the 'main' drug record (with its compound indicator set to 'Y') would be used for the generation so only a single records could be generated. If a multi-ingredient compound had more than one controlled substance, only the NDC in the 'main' record would be reported. ALL other ASAP Versions (3.x and 4.x) have been capable to generate multiple controlled substance records for about four years. 2. RX VERIFY - RECEIVE PRESCRIPTION New option, 'R. Receive Prescription' has been added to the verify program. It can be used by non-technical staff to scan prescriptions and queue them for future filling. The operator selects the patient and enters in a note which is normally the drug name as it appears on the prescription document (paper, e-mail, etc). Technical staff can then process these scanned prescriptions. 'OLD' (80x24) SOFTWARE CHANGES 15 Jul 15 software changes No notable software changes. Thank you, and have a nice day.
