SOFTWARE CHANGES INCLUDED IN THIS UPDATE:

15 Feb 17 software changes 132 x 42

P.O.S. SOFTWARE CHANGES

1. NON-ITEMIZED SALES REPORTS - SELECT BY CLERK
The non-itemized sales reports can now be specific to a Clerk by entering the
desired clerk code in the new, 'For Clerk' field.

PHARMACY SOFTWARE CHANGES

1. WASHINGTON STATE -CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REPORTING
Per state requirements, prescriber's phone number is now transmitted.
If the length of this phone number is not 10 characters (removing all spaces
and punctuation), the error code, 'DPHONE' will be printed on the exceptions
log.

2. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REPORTING - ALL STATES
- Sometimes, a patient is entered that is not really a 'patient' but, perhaps,
a clinic or a repository for prescription templates. Previously, if
controlled substances were entered for such a patient, they would be reported.
Now, by setting the patient's GENDER = 'n' (lower case 'N'), any controlled
substance scripts will NOT be reported.
*** USE THIS FEATURE APPROPRIATELY **

3. REFILL REQUEST - FAX DOCTOR - FONT SIZE INCREASED
The font size for the 'By law' message has been increased from 17 CPI
(characters per inch) to 12 CPI.

4. NEW JERSEY MEDICAID: PCN and CERTIFICATION FIELD SWAPPING FOR MULTI-SITE
As you know, the Certification Number identifies the pharmacy. However, this
field is common to all sites in a multi-site configuration.
Previously, each site would need to use a different insurance code (such as
PAAD2)
Now, when a claim is made to New Jersey Medicaid (BIN: 610515), the data
stored in the 'Processor Ctrl#' (which IS site specific) will be swapped with
the 'Certification#' (which is NOT site specific). The permits ONE insurance
code to be used for both (or more) sites.
The 132x42 ('new' wide screen) programming re-labels these fields to avoid
confusion.

5. PDE PLAIN PAPER PRINTING - PATIENT NAME FONT SIZE
On Software Options - Page 13, 'Pat Font Size' may be set to a number to
increase (or decrease) the font size from its default of 10 points for PATIENT
NAME. This only applies to laser printed PDEs.

6. ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING - SEARCH BY PATIENT PHONE
The ability to search e-Prescriptions by patient phone number has been added.
Set the display order to 'P'.

7. WORKFLOW - 'AUTO PERFORM ACTION' - 'SKIP NEXT QUEUE PROMPT ON SUCCESS'
Two new Workflow Queue Settings have been added to Page 9 - Software Options:
'Auto Perform Action On Rx# Input' when set to 'Y' will perform the
configured 'action' without prompting when a script number is entered.

'Skip Next Queue Prompt If All Successful' when set to 'Y' will skip many
checks/edits.

8. REQUIRE PASSWORD ON DRUG SOH CHANGE - CONTROLLED ONLY
The prompt for intials and password on stock-on-hand change can be limited to
controlled items (CII-CV) if 'Require Password on Drug SOH Chng' is set to 'C'
- Page 11 - Software Options.

9. REPORT BUILDER - TP GROUP - RX FILLED SITE - FILLED STATUS
- Script Item '44. Proc Site Code' (processing site code),
                '45. Filled Status',
- Misc. Item '26. Insurance Group Code'
