1. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REPORTING
UTAH - PICKUP ID ISSUER - QUALIFIER

UTAH STATE has requested more detail regarding the ID of the person picking up
controlled substance prescriptions.
FSI currently prompts for the ID in two formats.
The first is a THREE field from:
Enter the Pickup ID [II][QQxxxxxxxxxxxxx ][qq] Qual
The second is a TWO field format:
Enter the Pickup ID [IIQQxxxxxxxxxxxxx ][qq] Qual

Where:
II - is the issuing authority. This is typically the two
character postal code for a state or province (Canada)
QQ - is the TYPE of the ID entered as the first TWO characters
            of the ID. These are:
                ML - military
                DL - driver's license
ID - state/province issued. NOT A DRIVERS LICENSE
PR or GR - permanent resident id ('GREEN CARD')
PP - passport. In this case, the issuer should be the
                     country code (US,MX,CN), NOT a state/province code
SS - social security number. Issuer should be set to 'US'
TI or NA - tribal id (native american)
                OT - other

IF the two numeric digit 'Qual' field is used for the TYPE, then 'QQ'
does NOT need to be entered as the first two characters of the ID field.
qq - is the TYPE of of the ID. This is a numeric format that
has been supported for a few years:
                01 - military
                06 - driver's license
                02 - state/province issued. NOT A DRIVERS LICENSE
04 - permanent resident id ('GREEN CARD')
05 - passport. In this case, the issuer should be the
                     country code (US,MX,CN), NOT a state/province code
07 - social security number. Issuer should be set to 'US'
08 - tribal id (native american)
                99 - other

xxxxxxxxxxx - is the identification number

IF the last field, '[qq]' is used, then 'QQ' does NOT need to be entered
in the 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx' field.

The following four examples will RESULT in the SAME data transmitted:
Enter the Pickup ID [WY][DL98712345876 ][ ] Qual

Enter the Pickup ID [WY98712345876 ][06] Qual

- NORTH CAROLINA: If a drug's schedule is between 2 and 5 and the print file,
'CSubFacts.prn' exists, this 'Controlled Subs Fact Sheet' will print during a
label print.

- ALL: SOFTWARE OPTIONS can be configured to ALWAYS select reporting by PICKUP
DATE. On PAGE 7, set 'Default Ctrl Sub Rep to Picked Up Only' to 'Y'.

2. LASER LABELS - PRINT 'EYECON' BARCODE IF DRUG SCHEDULE
Setting '26. Eyecon Rx' barcode's Variant to a drug schedule (2-5) will cause
the barcode to print ONLY if the script's drug schedule is equal or less than
the Variant value.

3. TP A/R REPORT BUILDER - NCPDP VALUES
The '8. NCPDP ITEMS' now allows changing the description to something more
meaningful. Previously, the description was set to NCPDP-xx, where 'xx' was
the two character NCPDP code. For example, the code 'E6' is the DUR Outcome
code. The description could now be set to 'DUR Outcome' in place of 'NCPDP-
E6'.

4. MULTI-SITE DRUG ADDITIONS - ACTIVATE ALL SITES
SOFTWARE OPTION - PAGE 11 - 'Set All Sites Active on Drug Add' when set to 'Y'
will activate an added drug. Previously, all sites would have an added drug
INACTIVE except the site which added a drug.

5. MULTI-SITES USING COMMON CUSTOMER A/R
Setting the new SYSTEM OPTION, 'Copy Customer A/R to ALL Sites' to 'Y' will
ensure regardless of the site to which a Customer A/R account is added, it
will also be added to the other sites.
