PHARMACY SYSTEM CHANGES

1. DRUG SPECIFIC ONLINE SWITCH CODE
We are told claims for some drugs pay better when switched through RelayHealth
than RSI/ChangeHealthCare. In order to get the cheaper switching rates
through RSI for MOST drugs yet get the better reimbursement through
RelayHealth for these specific drugs, set the new, ‘Online Switch Code’ (on
the <F2> screen) to ‘RELH’ on these specific drugs.

2. ONLINE ‘REBILL’ (Reverse/Bill)
The function to ‘rebill’ a claim, performing a combined reversal/claim, has
been implemented.
At times, a dispensing must be modified after its claim has been paid (but
unfavorably) or was billed with the wrong prescriber, for example.

Previously, the claim would need to be reversed then re-billed.
Now, Charge Script to Third Party (key strokes from main menu: 3 7 2), may
be used to perform the reversal/re-bill in one transaction.

Select the dispensing to be rebilled AND the same THIRD PARTY as the orginal
billing. The program will prompt the operator with:

Rx Already Has a Primary Payer
Press SF6 to Change Billing Type
F2 Reversal
F10 REBILL

PRESS <F10> to process the as a NCPDP REBILL (B3) transaction.

The THIRD PARTY will process the rebill in one online transaction BUT in two
parts.
First, the previous claim is reversed. If it FAILS, a REVERSAL
FAILURE is returned.
Second, IF the reversal succeeds, a claim is processed. If it FAILS,
the dispensing record will be marked UNBIL. If successful, the
dispensing record will be updated with new payment information.

*** THIS FUNCTION HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH A ‘REAL’ THIRD PARTY ***
Try it out and let FSI CUSTOMER SUPPORT know if it works with a ‘real’ third
party or not.

3. PROGRAMMABLE LASER CLAIM FORMS – DATE FORMATS
Four new VARIANTS have been added for date formats. It is now possible to
individually place Month, Day, 2 digit Year, and 4 digit year by using
variants MM, DD, YY, CY (century-year) respectively.

4. MEDICATION ‘SYNCRONIZATION’ IMPLEMENTED
The ability to syncronize patient’s maintenance medications so they are
refillable on the same date/schedule has been implemented.
Please call FSI CUSTOMER SUPPORT (801-785-7720) for information.

5. LOG OF SCRIPTS REPORT BUILDER – TAR/PA EXPIRY DATE ADDED
A script’s Treatment Authorization Request (TAR)/Prior Authorization (PA)
expiry date has been added as ‘6. Misc Items’ – ’29. TAR/PA Exp. Date’.

This item will print ONLY if the script has an associated TAR/PA record (key
strokes from main menu: 3 1 K).

6. DRUG INVENTORY REPORTING – UPC ADDED TO FILE (CSV) OUTPUT
A drug item’s UPC has been added to output file, ‘druginv.exp’ (or ‘druginv.
csv’ if CSV output is selected).

7. DO CALL-DOC AFTER LAST FILL
Software Option (Page 3) “Do CallDoc After Last Fill” when set to “Y” will
cause the program to generate a CallDoc Request after the last refill of a
script has been dispensed.

8. ZEBRA/THERMAL LABELS – ADD TOTAL TP A/R
5. Dollar/Price Items ’18. Total TP A/R’ has been added.
