About the FSI Client

The FSI Client is the new client program being designed and developed specifically for our users to access our Pharmacy Management System and Point of Sale System. It is a Java based application so it will be able to run on most operating systems. The officially supported operating system for the client is Windows Vista or newer though it has been tested and found mostly usable on recent versions of Red Hat Linux, CentOS Linux, and Mac OS X. Because it is a JavaFX based application, you must have the official Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed.

Capabilities Beyond Other Clients

  • View hard copy, drug, and other images directly in the client window.
  • Can also open the images in separate windows that the user can arrange in the order they would like.
  • On-screen command buttons. This includes both Function keys and Shift Function keys.
  • Interactive input fields. Simply tap/click on a field to move the cursor to that field.
  • Up to four independent terminal printers.
  • View CSV files exported from our software directly in the client with sortable columns.
  • View reports without having to print them (not available for all reports).
  • Download files from and upload files to the server directly from the client.
  • 16 million color choices for both background and foreground colors.
  • Shadow and list boxes to help the user navigate and read the data presented.
  • Command buttons at the top of the window for quick access to various parts of the system.
