First Things First

FSI’s semi-monthly updates have been a bit rough the last few months. We realize this and FSI is very sorry for the issues you may have experienced. It’s a good thing you have amazing support staff here answering your calls for service and help! This support team, Dave, Jim, Blake, Isaac, Marie, Tamara, and Sandie have some amazing dedication toward the success of your pharmacy! I really can’t say enough about how great FSI’s support staff has been through all of this!


Things are Looking Great!

So you can better understand the issues with the last few updates, FSI has needed to make some changes to accommodate growth, which required some major software updates. The changes were made and tested, but with all of the different variables between all of our customers, it was difficult to know what was going to happen with every pharmacy. One change is better tracking of ‘hot fixes’, so after an update, you no longer have to call to have a program put back so something will work again. FSI’s developers didn’t anticipate the issues some of you experienced and would like to extend an apology. We are sorry for any inconvenience you have experienced. Thank you for being patient as we get through this time of growth!



Test Pharmacies

If your pharmacy is interested in becoming a test pharmacy for FSI so others can possibly avoid issues like most of you recently experienced, please contact the support office at (801) 785-7720. FSI could use a couple of “Beta” and “Charlie” software version test pharmacies. To help with your decision process, understand you are getting pre-release beta software and will need to patiently contact FSI support with any issues. You can’t ignore an issue, and you absolutely need to be patient when you call. You will have direct access to a developer to work on update-related issues. Thank you all for your consideration!
