MediSpan Drug Update
1. FLORIDA – CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REPORTING
The State of Florida (actually, for quite a while) requires the pharmacy’s state license number to be reported. This item is located on page one of Software Options. Keystrokes from the main menu: 3 1 N 1.
2. ALL STATES – CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REPORTING
The ability to transmit previously marked as transmitted records are possible by pressing the <ShF5> key on the ‘Starting/Ending Date’ screen.
3. PRINTING LABELS WITH MEDGUIDES – DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE
At the ‘Print Labels’ function, if a MedGuide is available, a ‘.pdf’ rendition of the document may be downloaded by entering ‘P’ instead of ‘Y’ (paper printing).
4. LOG OF SCRIPTS REPORT BUILDER – ADD PATIENT SPECIAL COVERAGE
Patient Item ’58. Special Coverage’ has been added. This item is included in a patient’s Insurance information (<F3>).
5. INVENTORY REPORTING – DEFAULT QUANTITY TO WHOLESALER PACK
The ability use wholesaler pack size quantity has been added by pressing <F7> on the main Inventory Reporting screen.
6. THERMAL/ZEBRA LABELS – ADD PREFERRED DELIVERY METHOD
Patient item, ’38. Preferred Delivery Method” has been added. This item is located on the patient <F2> Miscellaneous screen. Current methods are:
P – Pickup
D – Delivery
M – Mail
